INFECTION SCREENING
Infections in early pregnancy when the fetal organs are being laid down are recognized causes of birth defects. The organisms or infection types include syphilis, cytomegalovirus, herpes virus, rubella, toxoplasmosis and of recent parvo virus B19.
We offer screening for these conditions on indications from medical history and of late as a routine in the center. Screening can be direct or indirect.
